Membership Agreement and Warnings

Term and policies last updated: 1st August 2021

Risk Warning: Trading is risky

Before deciding to trade Foreign Exchange (Forex), Stocks, Futures, Options or CFDs, you should carefully study the material on this forum to assist you in properly assessing your investment objectives before trading your money in the markets. Trading on margin carries a much higher risk than trading cash on a dollar-for-dollar basis. Therefore it may not be suitable for you as an investor. The high leverage available with Forex brokers can work against you and for you. You could lose some or all of your initial investment. Therefore, you should not invest money that, if lost, would adversely affect your present lifestyle. We strongly recommend using the material provided in the forum to determine your potential as a trader while trading either a demo account or a small account with very little money – before risking large amounts.

Set and Forget Trading Academy and Forum

Any trading systems, opinions, forum posts, videos, chat sessions, teaching sessions, news releases, videos, research, analyses, or other information on this website are provided as educational commentary and do not constitute investment advice. Set and Forget Ltd. will not accept liability for any loss or damage, including, without limitation, to, any loss of profit, which may arise directly or indirectly from the use of or reliance on such information.
Set and Forget is neither a signal service nor do we trade anyone’s money. The Set and Forget community is a place to learn how supply and demand methodology works; it does not provide you with any signals or entitlement to trade your money. You are responsible for taking the risk of trading your own money based on what you’ve learned and understood by reading the lessons in the community.

Furthermore, the forum does not provide advice on how much capital you should invest, nor do we want to know anything about your financial background, nor will we advise you of such. Any instance where you may be inclined to conclude that we were providing specific financial or investment advice for your particular situation is a misapprehension of our meaning or intent. Whatever advice we provide is provided as a uniform guideline or set of instructions that is the same for every person (Member). For instance, if we said that “you should exit from a long trade once price hits opposing supply level” – that instruction is not to be construed as being intended for you in your specific situation but rather to be taken to mean what we would say to anyone trading that system in that situation.

Paying the monthly subscription entitles the subscriber to contribute to the forum’s channels following specific rules that will be updated under The Community Channel’s Rules room. The most important rule is the subscriber’s willingness to work hard and be a severe subscriber. Failing to comply with the clear and commonsensical rules stated in the channel mentioned above within the private forums can end up revoking the subscriber’s account, preventing him from contributing as an active subscriber until the end of his subscription. The subscriber will be able to read all comments, but he will no longer be allowed to post any comments until the end of his subscription, when his account is eliminated from the system.

The Set and Forget community or The Site is not a signal provider. All trades posted follow Set and Forget’s trading rules for education purposes. Set and Forget does not trade anyone’s money. Members should learn the set of rules provided in their membership and apply them. The community and forum will be used to ask for advice on how to apply the rules to very specific scenarios. Set and Forget is not responsible for any losses members took by following the community learning material, video analysis and posts submitted by its administrator or any of its members.

By accessing this community service and its forums, you, the User, agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below (the “Terms”). These terms apply to anyone who views, uses, is a member of, participates in or interacts with the Site in any way (the “User”). If you, the User, also called Member, do not agree to all of the Terms, please do not use the Site.

The Site may, from time to time, modify or revise the Terms by updating this Web page; the revised Terms will be in full effect upon being posted on this page. The User’s use of the Site following any such change constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Terms as changed. If any change is unacceptable to the User, the User’s only recourse is to terminate the use of the Site.

The community member agrees to comply with instructions or directions from the community managers and moderators. The community member also agrees to abide by the rules of conduct of the community.

The trading analysis and commentaries are available via monthly, quarterly or yearly subscription instalments. Failure to renew monthly instalments will result in termination of access to all services provided by set-and-forget.com. The User will have access to the academy’s content based on its membership level. Not all membership levels will have access to the same kind of information.

Lifetime Users will have lifetime access to all Forex-related content (currency cross pairs), trading commentaries and rules, and interaction with other Users of set-and-forget.com. For security reasons and risk management, the Site is entitled to remove content from set-and-forget.com content channels if this content might negatively affect the education and understanding of the courses by the User. The content on this website is subject to change at any time without notice. Lifetime users will not be charged any extra price to access the channels in the set-and-forget.com community and interact with other Users. Lifetime membership does not entitle Users to access other courses and services published by set-and-forget.com for free.

Lifetime access to the supply and demand core principles course and lifetime support in your learning without charging you any extra fees. Lifetime members will have lifetime access to daily updates on US Stocks, US ETFs, Forex cross pairs and cryptocurrencies channels. Other countries could be added to this list whose memberships could be waived for free. New countries and stock channels could be added in the future; these channels might require a monthly or yearly subscription not included in the lifetime membership

The Set and Forget service could be interrupted for reasons beyond the Company’s control. In the event that the company decides to terminate the service, customers will be notified at least three months in advance.

The value of the lifetime membership is 65 euros per month belonging to the Set and Forget S.L service, to which must be added the base amount of 395 euros for the course (this price may change depending on specific offers).

Lifetime membership would be equivalent to three years of service. If the company decided to cancel the service before those three years, the users of this membership would receive a refund based on the above amounts, considering the number of months that have passed since their initial registration as a customer.

Online Trading Risks

The online trading carries risks such as power outages, telephone disconnections, and interruptions. We advise all traders to have contingencies in place to handle such risks. A VPS system or a second phone, such as a mobile phone, would be possible backup choices in case the phone service is down. A second internet provider, such as a wireless service in addition to your ADSL or satellite service, is a good idea, and for day traders, a generator backup system in case of power failure is also an important consideration.

Risk Statement

I acknowledge that I fully understand that the risk factor in trading is substantial and that only “Risk Capital” should be used in leveraged trading. I understand that no trading system has ever been devised that is totally safe to trade. I understand that I am fully responsible for the funds I put at risk and fully accept all the consequences of every trading decision I make. I also agree that nobody at Set and Forget Ltd. or any of its members assumes any responsibility for my trading losses at any time.

Past performance is not a guarantee of future results. I understand that the methods and concepts described in the Set and Forget S.L. academy and forums are trading methodologies that are in use today solely because they have been profitable in the past — but that the past performance of these systems and concepts may yield different results in the future.

I, therefore, confirm that Set and Forget S.L. has not made, nor makes, any promises, guarantees, or warranties that my trading of financial instruments, such as currencies, indices, equities, or futures, will result in a profit or will not result in a loss.

I, therefore, agree to hold harmless Set and Forget and anyone connected with the Set and Forget forum, whether principals of the Set and Forget forum, other members of the Set and Forget forum, contractors, service companies, or any other person or entity financially connected with Set & Forget, from any losses, costs, liabilities, responsibilities, or indebtedness, arising from my participation at the Set and Forget forum.

Risk Disclaimer and Reliability of Information

Forex, Stocks, futures and CFDs trading involve substantial risk due primarily to the leverage involved. Futures, Stocks and CFDs prices may fluctuate, and as a result, due to leverage, traders may lose more than their original investment. In no event should the content of this website be construed as an express or an implied promise, guarantee or implication by or from set-and-forget.com or any of its employees, contractors, forum’s members and associates — that you will profit or that losses can or will be limited in any manner whatsoever. Past results are no indication of future performance. Information provided by (or in) this website is intended solely for informative purposes and is either obtained from sources believed to be reliable or is presented with a belief based on experience that it is reliable. Information is in no way guaranteed. No guarantee of any kind is implied or possible where projections of future conditions are attempted.

The Site, its directors, or its affiliates DO NOT participate in any way guarantee that the information contained on the Site will generate profits for the User. By using this Site, the User agrees to not hold liable set-and-forget.com, its directors, its affiliates or other users for losses the User may sustain while trading instruments, trading signals or trade recommendations discussed, recommended or alluded to on this Site.

Only risk capital should be used for trading; that is, funds which can be afforded by the User to lose in entirety. While the Site has done its best to provide quality and accurate information and recommendations, the User assumes all risks of using or following such information or recommendations. The Site is not liable for any inaccuracies on this site which may result in the User sustaining any form of loss.

The content on this website is subject to change at any time without notice. The Site has taken reasonable measures to ensure the accuracy of the information on the website. You should seek appropriate advice from your broker, or licensed investment advisor, before taking any action. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Simulated performance results contain inherent limitations. Unlike actual performance records, the results may under or over-compensate for such factors as lack of liquidity. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses to those shown.

By using this Site, you acknowledge and accept that all trading decisions are your own sole responsibility, and the Site or anybody associated with the Site cannot be held responsible for any losses that are incurred as a result.

If you purchase or sell Equities, Futures, Currencies or Options, you may sustain a total loss of the initial margin funds and any additional funds that you deposit with your broker to establish or maintain your position. If the market moves against your position, you may be called upon by your broker to deposit a substantial amount of additional margin funds on short notice to maintain your position. If you do not provide the required funds within the prescribed time, your position may be liquidated at a loss, and you may be liable for any resulting deficit in your account. You can lose substantially more money than you deposited in your account if you use leverage in your trading. This can result in an enormous debt to the broker and financial hardship.

Under certain market conditions, you may find it difficult or impossible to liquidate a position. This can occur, for example, when the market makes a “limit move” or if the price “gaps” from one price to another (with no offsetting orders available between the two prices to get you out of your trade). The placement of contingent orders by you, such as a “stop-loss” or “stop-limit” order, will not necessarily limit your losses to the intended amounts since market conditions may make it impossible to execute such orders.

Abuse includes but is not limited to: verbal or written abuse of the Site, its Users, Affiliates or Directors; attempting to access privileged information not granted to the User; spreading company-specific information in an attempt to manipulate the price of a financial instrument. Any of these actions or other actions deemed by the Site to be abusive or illegal could result in an immediate ban of the User from using interactive parts of the Site or loss of membership without refund if fees were paid.

The User agrees not to take legal action against the Site, its directors, users, affiliates or management or take any legal action that may directly or indirectly cause legal action to be taken against the Site, its directors, Users, affiliates or management, based on such disciplinary action and the User’s only course of action is to cease using the Site.

Users of the Website Generally

“Non-Personally-Identifying Information” is information that, without the aid of additional information, cannot be directly associated with a specific person. “Personally-Identifying Information,” by contrast, is information such as a name or email address that, without more, can be directly associated with a specific person. Like most website operators, Company gathers from users of the Website Non-Personally-Identifying Information of the sort that Web browsers, depending on their settings, may make available. That information includes the user’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system, browser type and the locations of the websites the user views right before arriving while navigating and immediately after leaving the Website. Although such information is not Personally-Identifying Information, it may be possible for Company to determine from an IP address a user’s Internet service provider, the geographic location of the visitor’s point of connectivity, and other statistical usage data. The company analyzes Non-Personally-Identifying Information gathered from users of the Website to help Company better understand how the Website is being used. By identifying patterns and trends in usage, Company can better design the Website to improve users’ experiences in terms of content and ease of use. From time to time, Company may also release the Non-Personally-Identifying Information gathered from Website users in the aggregate, such as by publishing a report on trends in the usage of the Website.

The company may use Web Beacons on the Website and in emails to count users who have visited particular pages, viewed emails and delivered co-branded services. Web Beacons are not used to access users’ Personally-Identifying Information. They are a technique Company may use to compile aggregated statistics about Website usage. Web Beacons collect only a limited set of information, including a Web Cookie number, the time and date of a page or email view and a description of the page or email on which the Web Beacon resides. You may not decline Web Beacons. However, they can be rendered ineffective by declining all Web Cookies or modifying your browser setting to notify you each time a Web Cookie is tendered, permitting you to accept or decline Web Cookies individually.
